One important feature about these diapers is the absorb liner that pulls and locks the mess from getting to the baby’s skin. But the favorite part is the pocketed back waistband to contain the blowouts and prevent the mess from sneaking from the sides.

Huggies Snug & Dry vs Little Snugglers: What’s the Huge Difference?

After trying the two diaper types, we found the liner of Snug and Dry diapers to be a little sensitive to the newborns skin. Even though the company claims Snug and Dry as without fragrances, chlorine, parabens and lotion; there were some scent emanating from the liner that would cause irritation if it is rubbed against a sensitive skin.

Huggies Little Snugglers on the other hand consists of a purely hypoallergenic linen without the addition of any chemical. It has been certified to be 100-percent free from chlorine, lotion, and paraben by medical experts.

We also found Little Snugglers to be softer on the internal linen when we compared with Snug and Dry diapers. However, Snug and Dry is still an amazing choice for non-sensitive babies.

Other Diaper Options by Huggies

Huggies has other diaper options you may need to look at if you’re not impressed by the two options we’ve reviewed. Other Huggies diapers include:

Little Movers

Huggies Little Movers are ideal choices for toddlers and active babies. Available sizes range from size 3 to 6 for babies who are between 16 and 35lbs or up.

Their absorbency is amazing but we don’t recommend the diapers for overnight since the baby is fairly active and the diapers may leak from constant movements.

They are comfortable, featuring fastener tabs that let you fit and adjust the diaper for a secure fit. Like most Huggies diapers, there’s a wetness stripe that converts into a blue color when the baby is in need of diaper change.

Huggies OverNites Diapers

Huggies OverNites diapers are provided from sizes 3-6 to fit babies from 16-35+ pounds. The OverNites diapers are designed with unmatched leak guard that contains the mess for as long as 12-hours of nighttime.

What’s even amazing about these diapers is the waistband that blocks the mess from escaping through the back.

The quilted internal liner will lock the mess away from the skin while the wetness indicator will turn into another color when it is diaper changing time.

The outer cover is breathable to constantly permit the entry of air into the baby’s skin for a dry and comfortable feeling.

Huggies Pull-Ups

They are absorbent pants for overnight use. Huggies Pull-ups are training pants for potty training with varying designs for a baby boy and girl.

It fits comfortably and snugly without feeling bulky. When soiled, the pull-up is super easy to take off just like an ordinally diaper. They’re safe since there is no scent that would result to rash or skin itches.

Bottom Line

Deciding on the best diaper between Huggies Snug and Dry vs Little Snugglers will entirely depend on the sensitivity of the baby.

Both are newborn diapers, but we suggest Little Snugglers if the baby is a preemie since they’re more vulnerable to sensitivity. As the baby grows, the sensitivity may diminish and you may move to Snug and Dry diapers if it is necessary.
